Welcome to Broomstix Cleaning Services ("we," "us," "our"). By using our cleaning services or visiting our website, you ("the client," "you," "your") agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline the terms of our agreement and ensure the best protection for both parties.
1. Services
Broomstix Cleaning Services provides professional cleaning services as per the specifications agreed upon during booking. Our service packages (Sparkle, Medium, Heavy) and add-on options will be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Scope of Services: The specific services to be provided will be outlined in the booking confirmation. Any additional services requested may incur extra fees.

Service Availability: We reserve the right to change or discontinue any of our services without notice.
2. Booking and Appointments

Booking Process: Services must be booked through our website, phone, or email. Upon booking, you will receive confirmation outlining the services requested, the date and time of service, and the cost.

Rescheduling or Cancellation: You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service cost. Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur a 100% fee.
3. Payments

Payment Terms: Payment for services is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. We accept major credit cards, e-transfers, and other payment methods as listed on our website.

Late Payments: A late fee of 5% of the total invoice amount may be applied for payments not received within 7 days of the service date.

Refunds: All sales are final. No refunds will be provided except in cases where services are not delivered as outlined in the booking confirmation.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure we provide optimal service, you agree to the following:

Access to Property: You must provide access to the property at the agreed time. If we are unable to access the property, a 100% fee will be charged for the missed appointment.

Safety Conditions: The work area must be safe and free from hazardous materials or conditions. We reserve the right to refuse service if the property is deemed unsafe.

Pets: All pets must be secured or removed from the areas to be cleaned. Broomstix will not be liable for any incidents involving pets during the cleaning process.
5. Service Satisfaction
We strive to provide the highest quality service:

Complaints and Adjustments: If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within 24 hours. We will make every reasonable effort to address and rectify the issue at no additional cost, provided the complaint falls within the scope of the original service agreement.

Limitations: We do not guarantee the removal of all stains or damage, especially those caused by long-term neglect or conditions beyond our control (e.g., mold, water damage, etc.).
6. Liability and Damages

Liability: We are fully insured for liability. However, Broomstix Cleaning Services is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage to the property or its contents
Wear and tear of fragile or delicate items
Incidents resulting from improper handling of valuable items or equipment left unattended by the client

Damage: If damage occurs as a direct result of our cleaning, you must report it within 24 hours. We will investigate and, if Broomstix is found responsible, repair or replace the item at our discretion. Liability is limited to the cost of the service.
7. Force Majeure
Broomstix Cleaning Services is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, labor strikes, or power outages.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected during service booking and performance will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not disclose any confidential information regarding your property or service details to third parties without your consent unless required by law.
9. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate or refuse services if:

The client is found to be engaging in behavior that is threatening, abusive, or inappropriate.

Unsafe conditions or circumstances are present.

Payment has not been made in accordance with the agreed terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
